PNEfc
Preston North End (PNE) is based in the Heart of Lancashire. Formed in 1881, PNE is steeped in proud football History. In the early days Preston won many things, including becoming the first team to do the English Double. Winning the FA Cup without conceding a single goal and the League without losing a game. After 1964, when Sir Tom Finney, retired, PNE fell on darker times, falling down the Leagues, to a low point of having to apply for league status back. Although they wasn’t relegated from the league, the was the lowest point for the Club. But Since 1994, Preston has been on the up, A new stadium that’s just been completed and have risen up the leagues, to the Coca Cola Championship. Twice they have been within 90 minutes of Premier League Football. Following PNE is fun, with ups and down’s and great days out with the National Football Museum always worth a visit before the game. Preston is one of the cheapest clubs to watch in the championship and is so easy to get to, with great Motorway links and Mainline Train Station. So if your looking for a Day out with the kids (under 8 watch for free), why don’t you pop along to Deepdale and enjoy a game and the museum. All are welcome and you never know like me you could get hooked, by the great atmosphere and want to visit every game.
